[Update, 4th June: Phnom Penh Post article]
This is the scene today at Kratie market where, in the early hours of this morning, a fire started. The main covered section of the market is all but destroyed and the flames were still burning when we visited at 6.30am. It is a sad day for Kratie. The market is the heartbeat of this town. So many people will feel the impact of this on their livelihoods for years to come. Our thoughts are with them.
